For your first assignment, you need to choose one of the following questions to address. Then, you need answer the question using one of the three ways described below. This assignment is worth 20 points and must be "turned in" by January 7th.
Where is “nowhere” in the WV mountains? I need someone to study the geography and find a place for the bus to go off road.
What would the kids have packed for the trip? What items can we use and how can we use them?
Basketball. I know nothing more than the basics, so I need some of you to be my “basketball details” editors. For this first assignment, explain why the team might travel so far away for a game? (Are they playing in a tournament?) Where would they go and who would they be playing? They loose the game, so suggest a really bad score! Was it a close game or a slam? Maybe you could describe the game itself.
Who are our characters? I have a few ideas for characters, but I need your help to develop the rest. Suggest a character! What’s their story? What’s their drama? How do they fit into our survival/team story? Read about some of the characters below.
Drama. I know you deal with it 24/7, especially while I am trying to talk about adjectives and adverbs! What kinds of drama do our characters deal with? What was getting in the way of their game? What drama are they going to deal with while waiting to be rescued? Give me ideas!
